KUKA.OfficeLite

Functionality

KUKA.OfficeLite makes it possible to create and optimize offline programs for KUKA robots. KUKA.OfficeLite is for 99% identical to the Standard Software KR C. Using the original KUKA graphic user interface and the KRL language syntax (KUKA Robot language), the offline operating and programming corresponds exactly to the one for the (real) robot. KUKA.OfficeLite requires no additional hardware (MFC board) and therefore can be installed on a PC or on a notebook.  Programs can be transmitted in a ratio of 1:1 by means of a disk or via the network.

Features

• This programming system has the same properties as the KUKA system software: operating and programming by using the original KUKA graphic user interface and the KRL language syntax - it comprises the complete language.
• It contains all functions of the respective system software, but hardware - periphery coupling is not possible.
• Syntax check by means of a compiler and interpreter; building of runnable KRL user programs.
• Complete sequential control of the robot user program, with this it is possible to optimize the robot cycle time, even if the cycle time cannot be exactly defined due to the non-existent hardware for real-time.
• Program optimizing - KUKA TechWare can be used and installed at any time. Thus, the complete original system software is available on a standard PC, no emulation!
• Inputs can be simulated.
• KUKA.OfficeLite cannot be used for controlling a real robot.

• KUKA.OfficeLite 5.2 is delivered as part of KUKA.Sim Pro 2.0
• KUKA.OfficeLite 5.4 is delivered as part of KUKA.Sim Pro 2.1

Equipment delivered

• KUKA.OfficeLite is offered on an individual CD rom
• Windows 2000 or Windows XP is NOT on the CD rom
• Installation program (multilingual), installation documentation (en, ge, fr).

System requirements

• Workstation or laptop computer with following minimal configuration:
  • Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista
  • Internet Explorer 5.x or higher
  • Pentium Processor, from 1Ghz onwards
  • 1 Gbyte RAM

Note

• KUKA.OfficeLite cannot be used to communicate with external periphery (e.g. using serial communication ...)
• Because of the wide range of software and hardware configurations compability problems with other system or application software can not be excluded by KUKA Roboter GmbH.
